Are you wondering what a "Yoga, Craft, and Play" class looks like?
We have a rhythm for all classes that changes seasonally and with kiddos' needs, but in general, we follow this structure for all classes over an hour:
* Gather, share snack, free play with friends, tactile toys, coloring, etc.
* Circle up with singing bowl, check in, land acknowledgement, affirmations with poses
* Short asana sequence or social-emotional learning game or book reading
* Choice to play or craft in groups or individually
* Breath work to center before an organized arts and craft project
* More free play/crafting/outdoor time
* Finish up crafts, clean up together, closing circle
All activities are choice-in. Your young person is welcome to observe, share, participate, rest, move, be silly, be serious, feel upset, problem solve or one hundred other things!
